About the Wedding:
Isabelle and Florent live in Paris but they decided to get married in Brittany, Northern France.
It was an intimate wedding with about 80 people but it was so fun!
The day couldn’t have been any better, the weather great so they were able to have the ceremony outdoors and during the evening we disappeared for about 30 minutes to
make some portraits at sunset.
Isabelle (the bride) said, “It was truly a once in a lifetime moment. I don’t think I instantly realise what was happening when I put my foot to the venue of our wedding. We actually went to the venue the day before my actual wedding. I wanted every little detail to be as I visualised it in my mind, so I had lots of last things to do, I didn’t give myself a proper break that day but I knew it will all be worth it.”
“The wedding day started out pretty hectic as you can imagine but I was happy, I was surrounded by my four bridesmaids, my sister, mother and dear friends, all whom took care of me, they ensured that everything was fine. That was a relief as it has been the first time in months that I felt relaxed.
As soon as everyone was ready, a little feeling of excitement came over me, I can’t even describe it but it felt good! We got married outdoors, at the beautiful Moulin, the sun was shinning – it was serene. When I came out and noticed that everybody was waiting for me, it started to sink in, this is my day, the day that I marry the love of life.
I looked at my husband waiting for me, he looked back at me as if I was an angel…Whoa that was a wonderful feeling!
When the pastor announced that we were officially husband and wife, I just couldn’t believe how quick that was but fortunately the day wasn’t over just yet. It was party time, c’est la fete!!”
