The Groom: Dan and Shelley have been a couple for a number of years and actually planned to get married earlier, but a lovely new addition to the family had them put the wedding off another year.

A tipi by “Tipis4Hire” was erected on the lush grounds of Baddow Park. With a rustic theme, the couple put together their own jugs for flowers, table numbers and décor. They made their own unique table plan as well. The flowers were done by a friend, with Shelley adding DIY crafty bits to suit her vision. The ring pillow, bunting and several other decoration were done by the talented Gemma Woodcraft of “Woodcraft Cards and Crafts.”

Not to be outdone by the Bride and Bridesmaids choice of shoes, the guys came in with fancy socks and loads of fun attitude.

With the Ceremony in the light and airy Conservatory, guests then moved to the lawn for Pimms and canapés. Lunch was served in the Tipi by “Black Jacket Chef,” with a picnic table style setup, a small DJ area, loads of bunting and bean bag lounging for later.

The cake matched Shelley’s colour theme and was made by “Bunty’s of Chelmsford” and tasted as good as it looked! Good thing it was indoors, though, as the day turned out to be warm and sunny.
