Ailsa & Neil’s Christmas Wedding
Today we skip back to Christmas and feature the lovely wedding of Ailsa & Neil who had their special day apt rued by Edinburgh based wedding photographer Karolina Kotkiewicz.
Ailsa and Neil – A couple who love Christmas time and that’s why they wedding was at that time. Which I think it was beautify nailed with details and decoration and the mood of the lighting and etc. What I like about Ailsa and Neil that the moment we met they new what they wanted. They said they a little bit shy in front of the camera that’s why we made engagement session which helped them a lot to get more confident if front the camera. I love the way how Neil makes Ailsa lough. 🙂
I don’t say this very often but their wedding was really perfect! Apart from the little windy day which didn’t allow us to shoot longer outside but still done some. Everything went very smooth I felt that we have a lot of time for everything. People were very relaxed and welcome. I felt like part of the family member. Which is very nice feeling. Humanist ceremony was beautiful and emotional Ailsa who tried to keep her emotions in control but when they were exchanging their vows she burst in tears. Her mum reading was emotional too.
I’m a loving life person. Like to me meet new people and new places however always happy to go back to my home where is my beloved partner, cat Jeff and dog Pixel. The 33 ( my age) is just a number for me. I came from Poland and live in Scotland for 12 years already. My whole family have something to do with art, so no wonder I found my own way to express myself through the photography. I have been in photography industry since I was 15 years old, but shooting wedding seriously for 5 years now.
As I mentioned above I loved the theme of the wedding- very Christmasy. I liked the moody light in the ceremony room as well which perfectly give wintery and cozy atmosphere.
I’m a wedding photographer who like strong relationship with my couples. I like get to know them, who they are, how they are for each other. Knowing all of these things helps me create beautiful emotional photos from their Special Day.
My style is strong but in the meaning of strong reportage. I like people which looking at my photos have a feeling like they are part of the day.
