Adam & Heather Rock.
We feature the fantastic wedding of Adam and Heather captured by Luis Holden, a Norwich based and destination wedding photographer.
Do tell us about the couple?
Adam & Heather rock. Full stop. These guys know how to party and they know how to hold an incredible wedding day too. I was sooooo honoured to be there and capture it for them. They are fun, dynamic and down to earth people. My kinda peeps!
Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went?
The day went as planned, they wished for a day of happiness spiralling into an incredible party and that is what they got!
Do tell us a little bit about yourself?
I had a vision and it went a little something like this… How about leaving your successful career and secure income to start something new, bold and fresh. To pursue what makes you happy and create something breathtaking every weekend. To record moments of mesmerising calm, when time feels like it has stopped – to crazy/cool dance-moves under a starry sky. Insanity at its best. Plus all the little pieces in-between that cover the rest of the human spectrum of love and emotion. So that is what I did! And genuinely, I love it with all of my heart. I’m a full-time, pro photographer and photographing people and their special days is what I do.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is anti-cheese, super-relaxed, emotive and creative. I have a fantastic time at the incredible weddings that I shoot every week and I hope that this shines through on the imagery that I create. I aim to blend in with the wedding day, ‘be at one with the wedding’ (zen-like!) with minimal intrusion, in the background (with the use of a invisibility cloak no less!) so that I can capture all the real and genuine emotion floating about.
What did you love about the day?
The build-up. The day began with big smiles and good times and just carried on in this never-ending trajectory upwards. Like a rocket. Boom!! I also loved the fact that Adam & Heather WANTED to go out for a midnight run in the rain!
