Documentary, Fine art, reportage - A modern wedding demands all kinds of styles of photography. I'm not afraid of photographing small groups of close family and friends as needed - there has to be a place for that and anything's possible with a little planning.

My style is always adaptable, and very natural.

I'm heavily invested in the real life love stories, and what it means to be captured in the here and now. Everybody's wedding story is the story of hope, protection, strength and vulnerability. 'Us against the world'. If I can capture that in a photograph then I'm getting to the true character of the human condition.

Don't cut corners. Your photographer is either right for you or not the right fit - look for the person who wants to be there and knows why they want to be there..
Photographers have to run a business and get paid, sure, but if it feels like money is the only motivation for photographing your wedding then you have to ask different questions.
Ask to see full weddings and talk about how much time your photographer will give you on the day and in the lead up to the day.
Look for experience, too. Competence will always over-ride the photographer who is trying to sell you their own cool lifestyle and brand! It makes no difference if your photographer is male or female. None. We have photographed weddings as a husband and wife team, and unless you've been told who took the pictures you wouldn't know.
