Hello, I’m Alex. I’m 52 and I have taken photographs since my schooldays (…..a long time ago)!
Apart from photography, my main love is music. I’m an 80’s child at heart, but I love a wide range of music from jazz to 2-Tone to classical and I can bore you to death about Paul Weller.
In my private life, I have been with my partner Chris for 18 years and our holiday in Mykonos and Santorini a couple of years ago gave me a burning ambition to photograph a wedding on either of those islands !
Over the past couple of years I have been lucky enough to cover weddings with great couples and great venues: from the Isla Gladstone, to Liverpool Football Club, to Crewe Hall, to St George’s Hall and most recently The West Tower in Aughton.
My packages for 2020/2021 are as follows:
Platinum: £1000 – All day on your wedding day PLUS an engagement shoot in the months beforehand. The wedding day would include you and your partner getting ready in the morning straight through to just after your first dance in the evening (and also includes any rehearsal beforehand that is taking place at the venue), The engagement shoot would be at a time and date suitable for you.
Gold: £800 – as Platinum above but without the engagement shoot.
Silver: £500 – as above, but beginning from the ceremony itself and without the engagement shoot.
Bronze: £200 to £300 – this would be if you want me for less of the day (e.g. just for the ceremony) and is negotiable.
If you have any other timeframe or budget in mind, get in touch and let’s have a chat.
Looking forward to meeting you!
I aim to tell the story of your day as unobtrusively as I can. Candid moments are everything and often make the best photos and memories, but I know that posed photos are important too. So I will do as many posed pictures or as few as you want. You're paying the money, you are the boss ;-)
I do a mixture of black & white and colour photos, and will mainly give you the choice of both.
I am friendly, easy-going, and have a great sense of humour. I just want you to relax and let me get the photos and memories of your day.
If you want to know anything else - please just ask !
It's lovely to see family and friends altogether and catching up where they may not have seen each other for a while. It's great to see all the guests looking smart and at their best. It's heartening to see some of the gents overcome their nerves to makes successful speeches, willed on by the crowd. Which all makes for great photography.
If you can't find a photographer through a recommendation, or word of mouth, then go with your gut feeling as it is rarely wrong. If someone feels right for you then they probably are right for you.
