My style is fresh and always evolving to new original and fun ways to document your wedding. I am fully qualified with years of experience in the bag.

Because of my creative working style,I have been asked to do workshops at large Festivals such as Kendal Calling festival and Henley Royal Regatta, some of our other clients include Lacoste, Manchester Art Gallery, The Lowry, and many more! I’ve has been practicing professional photography for over 20 years now and has studied the practice from a young age.

I am based on the Yorkshire/Lancashire/Cheshire borders in Saddleworth, handily close to Manchester but I do travel the full length of the UK and beyond to shoot weddings

My approach on the day is informal, I like to act like a guest, that way I can get right into the action without people being conscious of us. I always have a good look round the venue and the surrounding area before the wedding. My aim is to produce natural, reportage style images with a creative edge. I get my inspirations and influences from all over the place- Fashion, Film, Art, Music etc, so I'm not just reproducing someone else's work at weddings, I try my very best to be original!

I generally ask for 30-40 mins of time later in the wedding day to take some styled Couples Portraits, we will already know most of the images we're going to take in this time with the help of our trusty iPad which will have any images from Pinterest that you have sent me for reference. Its not long so I have to be well prepared.

I see the wedding photography process very much as a collaboration, so I always find out what kind of images you like so I never ask you do something you are not comfortable with or else this often shows in the images. Pinterest is an amazing tool that we use to collaborate and share ideas continuously right from when we first meet you up until your wedding day. This way your images will ooze both my and your personalities! I think one of my skills is working with people within their 'comfort zone', so not asking anyone to do anything they are not comfortable with. Some people love to pose and some people hate it, its just a case of, using my experience, finding the right style to suit you.

I love the fact that I am producing something that will last for many generations. My albums and images will mean so much to people that haven’t even been born yet, & I love that!

With the internet and things like Pinterest, Tumblr and Facebook people really know what a good image is now. Its great to work with our couples and collaborate with them to produce art that they will never tire of looking at, art that will remind them of their day and will provide them with visual memories. Wedding photos attach a kind of unique, special meaning to an image that you don’t get from other types of photography.

2. Check that the images you’re seeing on the photographers website are from REAL weddings and are not all set-up, planned shoots. One or two creative shoots is totally cool but you want to be sure your photographers can deliver when it truly matters!
