Hello! My name’s Sam and I’m a wedding photographer. I record each wedding in an unobtrusive, elegant and natural way, working with every couple to create a record of their wedding that embodies all the spirit and emotion of their day. With over a decade’s experience in shooting and directing observational films for the BBC I offer genuine wedding documentary photography.

Your wedding is one of the single most important days in your life. My philosophy is that you should be free to enjoy the day, to soak up the atmosphere and to spend time with your friends and family. I don’t believe the photography should get in your way.

Photographing weddings is not just about having a good eye. My background in documentary filming means I can blend in to any situation and it’s my job to put people at ease and allow everyone to be themselves. Documentary photography allows you to have a genuine record of your day so that when you look back on the images in years to come, you can remember what actually happened and relive all those precious moments.

How would you describe your style?

My style is a great mixture of honest, natural documentary photography combined with stunningly creative and cool portraits.

What do you love about weddings?

I love the mixture of emotions that you get on a wedding day. Anticipation, nervousness, excitement, love... they all make for fantastic photographs if you know where and when to look.

Your Travel policy?

I go anywhere and I don't charge for travel within mainland UK
