Hi. My name is Clare Tam-Im and I am based in Hertfordshire, but travel all over the UK for weddings. My style is all about relaxed, natural and fun wedding photography.

I focus on getting lots of natural shots of you and your loved ones enjoying the day. Getting photos of the little details/decorations that you may have slaved over for weeks/months. I don’t like to direct what is happening. I’m there to photograph it as it happens.

During your group shots and portraits, you don’t have to worry about awkward/cheesy poses. I give you some guidance so everyone knows what they’re doing, but what’s most important to me, is to have you feel relaxed and enjoy yourselves. After all, this is your wedding day.

Relaxed, natural and fun - I focus on real moments, real emotions, real people. I do not disturb or direct what is happening during your day. The only time I will give some guidance is during formal group shots and your portraits. Other than that, I am there to photograph your wedding day as it happens. From when you first get ready and the butterflies begin, through to the big moment where you both say 'I do'. Followed by all your loved ones congratulating you, saying wonderful things about you (or embarrassing depending on how the speeches go down) right through to when you hit the dance floor.

What's not to love? Witnessing two families come together. Being able to be a part of this amazing day. Seeing all kinds of different emotions, hearing all kinds of stories, meeting so many wonderful people, and being able to do what I love most. It's always such an honour to be a part of it.

I would say the best thing to do is decide how important your wedding photography is for you. This will help you determine how much you want to budget for your wedding photographer. Knowing the style of wedding you would like as well will also help as you can find a wedding photographer that will compliment your wedding based on their style. Have a chat with your potential photographers. Having a good rapport/relationship with them will help on your wedding day as for me, to get the best out of your wedding photography, it's all about teamwork between you and your wedding photographer.
