Wedding of Jon and Lori in Chicago

We feature the wedding of Jon and Lori who got married on March 6th, 2016. Their wedding day was captured by Doru Halip with H Photography.

They contacted our studio last year and agreed to work with H Photography for their wedding photography, and our partners Martin Media for the videography.

I believe everything was planned by Lori via online service. Anyway the couple arrived in Chicago a week prior the wedding day and we even had an engagement photo session taken in the suburbs of Chicago. The best part of this engagement session it was that started snowing and it was sunny in the same time.

All he wanted was to have photos with snow!

Few days later the wedding day arrived and we started at the Residence Inn Chicago Downtown/Magnificent Mile with the getting ready, then the Ceremony and Reception took place at the Signature Room in Hancock Tower. Jon’s mother officiated the ceremony and pronounced the couple married!

During the ceremony they had formal signing of the marriage license while music plays. Also at the end there was a champagne toast.

The day was continued by a photo session with Jon ( the Englishman in Chicago) and Lori around the windy city. Once the photo session was over they all met at the Hancock tower and took the limo to the United Centre to watch a Chicago Blackhawks game.

Our wedding photography style is photo journalistic. We document the details of the day and the emotions of the couple and their family & friends. We do provide guidance with posing, but we prefer to let true interactions and emotions shine through in our images.
