Terni Itallian Wedding

The stunning wedding of Abdel and Ghizlane whom got married in Terni, in southern Italy. The day was captured by Rellini art studio.

Abdel and Ghizlane are a moroccan couple living in Italy. Both doctors in Milan, they chose to tie the knot during the winter season in Umbria where Abdel spent part of his childhood.

Relatives gathered from all over Italy and Morocco to join them in Terni. They both got prepared in a hotel in Arrone during a mild january morning and moved to the city hall for their civil ceremony.

As a warm sun was setting we decided to head back for the shooting to the little medieval village of Arrone where I had the chance to became familiar to the couple and to make them feel relaxed and romantic.

I was looking for some intimate and romantic pictures and Abdel and Ghizlane look really involved and beautiful. Then we moved to a private hall where the party lasted all night long with a band playing traditional music and moroccan food was served. Following her traditions Ghizlane changed 7 different dresses, been carried on a throne like a queen, and danced until 4 am.

About my style

I love to document the wedding day in an artistic way creating evocative moments, adding a personal touch but never losing any single moment. I like using geometry and available light but enjoy also freezing party dances and unique moments.

The moment I loved the most from their wedding day is the time I spent alone with the couple in the village where we built a spontaneous intimacy.
My advice to the people planning their wedding day is to set aside the right amount of time for the photo shooting as this will be the only real thing that will remain, but also be aware that this coveted day can be really short so try to enjoy every moment as much as possible with no concern and anxiety.
