Surprise Engagement Proposal in Prague
We love featuring an engagement shoot, but how about an engagement shoot where the bride had only just got engaged! Today we have the moment Mike proposed to Sandy when she was least expecting it! The day was captured by Prague based Wedding Photographer Eliška Fischerová.
The Day
Mike hired me trough www.flytographer.com (Flytographer captures surprise proposals in over 120 cities worldwide by the way!) I spent about a month planning the day with Mike over Skype. We wanted to keep it as a secret till the very last moment. I was waiting for them on the stairway near Prague Castle. Mike bought an old polaroid camera and he asked Sandy if she can sit on the edge and he will take a picture of her. While she was posing, Mike pulled the ring out of his bag pack. When she turned her head back he proposed. And of course, she said yes!
The Couple
Mike is a tattoo artist from Delaware – United States. Sandy met him during her first tattoo session. They became friends and a few years after, started dating. Mike and Sandy are super cute and completely in love as it is visible from the pictures.
The Photographer
I am young photographer based in Prague, graduated in a field of art photography. My work focuses on weddings and people portraits. I love to capture ordinary human beings in ordinary views and situations. As a wedding photographer I work for customers throughout whole Europe (especially in Netherlands and Germany).
How would you describe your photography style?
I hope it is contemporary! I am trying to keep an artistic attitude I have learned at university of art and design. In a wedding photography I combine styled shoot and documentary style. I love both as well. And what I love the most on weddings? That I can tell a love story through my pictures and keep the emotions for ever.
What did you love about the day?
I love her reaction. The pure happiness is filling every picture from that day. You just can feel the love around.
