St. Peters Church in Wellesbourne & Baraset Barn Wedding

Today we feature the beautiful wedding of Richard & Rebecca captured by Antony Turner a Hampshire based Wedding Photographer.

The Couple
Richard and Rebecca are very close friends to a good friend of mine, unfortunately my friend was unable to attend their wedding but he introduced them to my photography and I’m so happy that he did because Richard and Rebecca are one of the friendliest and coolest couples I’ve met. We all met face-to-face before their wedding to photograph their engagement portraits in Shoreditch, the weather was really bad as it was raining very heavily but Richard and Rebecca braved it and let nothing get in the way of their photographs! Rebecca and Richard were so much fun to work with and I really believe this shows in their wedding photographs.

The Day
I started the day by arriving at the Brides mothers home where Rebecca was getting prepared for their wedding and both them and their families were all very inviting and welcomed me into their homes and life’s which allowed me to capture the event very close and personal. They had their wedding at St. Peters Church in Wellesbourne and decorated the church with pink petals and candle light this was then followed by their wedding reception at the gorgeous Baraset Barn in Stratford-Upon-Avon. The Baraset Barn was decorated to perfection and looked very stunning, the Baraset Barn was the perfect place for a party full of cake, drinks and dancing!

The Photographer
I’m Antony Turner, but most people call me Tony. I’m a Hampshire based wedding photographer but I often travel all around the UK (and sometimes the world) photographing the weddings of people who want a relaxed and honest wedding photographs.

I became a wedding photographer because this allowed me to be invited into the front row of a strangers life for one whole day. This give me the opportunity to capture endless amounts of emotions and expressions in an honest manner whilst they naturally occur throughout the day.

I photograph weddings in a modern photojournalist approach which shows the true personalities and characters of the wedding couple and their guests. It’s not about ridiculous arrays of lights, studio set-ups, forced poses and fake smiles but a true reflection of everyone on your wedding day.

What did you love about the day?
Their wedding had a very bohemian spring festival atmosphere filled with flowers, loud music, beer and crazy out of control dancing from the Bride and Groom and all their guests – what is there not to love!
