A lovely featured real wedding captured by Jodie Brennan Photography, a unobtrusive, fun, natural wedding photographer based in Stafford.
Words from Jodie…
Jane & Matt’s wedding was a wonderful day from start to finish. They had worked very hard on getting everything just right and it really paid off.
Although the wedding was in September we had glorious weather, this allowed us to get some images of the happy couple in the church garden, in the same spot Jane’s parents had on their wedding day over 30 years earlier.
The venue, Hard Day’s Night Hotel was perfect, it had a real party atmosphere and the Beatles themed touches the couple had added were brilliant. Everyone had so much fun including myself, I was honoured to be the photographer for such a special day. I think the images really capture the emotions and feeling of the day.
A few words from Mr & Mrs Hughes:
We met at Newcastle University in 1998 and got together the year after through a shared love of drinking, football and music. After graduating, we set up home in the North East and finally in 2012, Matt decided it was time to make things official – a whirlwind romance of 13 years!
When deciding on a wedding venue, the North East v North West debate was a tough one. However we quickly realised that Jane’s home church in Widnes where her parents got married over 35 years earlier was really the natural choice. Our love of music, the city and the sixties vibe meant that we fell in love with the Hard Days Night Hotel in Liverpool and it’s unique atmosphere the first time we visited.
Of course we couldn’t resist including a few Beatles touches as part of our celebrations, however our theme was really all about celebrating with family and friends and ensuring everyone had lots of fun and a day to remember.
Although it’s a cliché we really did have the best day ever, the sun even came out for us meaning our dream of photographs with the Liver Birds became a reality – we love them!
