Today we feature the lovely wedding day of Lizzie & David who got married at South Farm in Hertfordshire. Their day was captured by Becky of Dream Inspire Images.

The Couple
I met Lizzie and David on the morning of their wedding at South Farm in Hertfordshire, such a lovely warm friendly couple, their photographer had cancelled a few weeks before due to a broken ankle and fortunately I was able to step in with such short notice & do my best to cover everything the couple spoke to me about via email., they had looked at my previous work and knew that it was a stoke of luck our paths had met, they loved my style and was very comfortable about my approach and creativity.

About The Day
Their wedding was in October 2014 and the weather was perfect without a drop of rain to be seen, it was still quite warm for that time of year with the last leafs still hanging onto the branches of the trees and beautiful autumn colours starting to show and also the sun came out for most of the day, it was a photographers dream so I knew there would be plenty of opportunities to take portraits.

Right from the start i knew not only would I be working with a lovely couple who were so relaxed and calm about their day i was also very excited about the location as Lizzie & David wanted a Barn wedding on a Farm. The day was so organized and it just flowed so nicely. Lizzie & David had their ceremony and reception inside the Barn after the speeches were done next came the Folk dancing which was wonderful to see all the family and guests get up on their feet and dance the night away with the happy couple.

About me
I have been a photographer for 3 years now, my passion started with nature and landscape photography and last year i decided to step into the big world of wedding photography which has become my passion and love. I went to college for a year to study photography and was credited with a distinction. apart from gaining qualifications in photography my passion comes from within and I love my job and most importantly i love to please others. for me wedding photography has become a dream, not only do I meet amazing people and work at stunning locations I am able to express my style and creativity through my work.

My Photography Style
I would describe my photography style as contemporary, romantic country style and elegant. I love to use the natural light sources as much as possible and shoot mainly with prime lenses. I love country style wedding but am flexible in the wedding i do. I love soft vibrant colours in my images and I am fan of Black and white Photography as it always seem to capture the emotion perfectly.

What did I love about the day
Being in such a romantic enchanting setting and location such as South Farm Lizzie and David’s approach to their wedding was simple, they styled there wedding with the things they enjoyed such as the folk band playing in the barn at the reception and natural flowers for the Bride and Bridesmaids. a simple story board with photos of special moments and life events that were captured since they first met, home made wedding cakes displayed on rustic logs and a spit roast for their wedding breakfast and simple table decorations. Lizzie wore a stunning lace dress and looked so elegant next to the man of her dreams. It was a simple country style wedding and my approach and vision was to use the setting around them to tell their story.
