Leila & Sam’s Broxmouth Wedding

Today we feature the lovely, beautiful and elegant wedding of Leila & Sam who got married at in Scotland at Broxmouth, their day was captured by Chantal Lachance-Gibson Photography.

The couple
Leila and Sam are laid back and full of fun. They seem to take life on for the adventure it is having travelled a lot together and made sure to make the most of it. This came across in their theme for their wedding breakfast along with a taste for classic and simple beauty.

The day
The sun was shining and it was warm which is always a great way to start off the day in Scotland. The venue was absolutely breathtaking and full of character. The pallet also suited perfectly with their classic wedding theme which linked the prep shots to the rest of the day perfectly. Had a good laugh with the girls while they got ready! The ceremony itself took place in the church Leila’s family went to in a village quite local to Broxmouth. This gave us the chance to get some sea side shots on the way back to the reception. The grounds of Broxmouth were absolutely gorgeous for our photo session which gave such a huge amount of variety to their photos. The rest of the day itself from there was all about capturing the couple enjoying their guests and the festivities.

The Photographer
We are a husband and wife team! We love everything about being married and going through life together so to photograph weddings is something we truly enjoy and appreciate. We love getting to meet and get to know knew people as we continue on this journey! Nothing better then loving what you do and we hope that translates trough to our photos! We also love to travel and go on adventures so having had the chance to photograph weddings and proposals abroad has been an absolute dream!

Our style is very natural, romantic while also being documentary. We are not into forced posed photos, we are lovers of natural light and sun flares, the golden hour, a good tree, fairy lights and doors (yes doors!)

What did you love about the day?
I loved the personal touches through out the day like fun sun glasses as part of the bridesmaids gifts, thoughtful gifts exchanged between Leila and Sam, The painting Leila’s grandmother painted of them during their pre wedding shoot and most definitely the epic group selfie!
