Beautiful Boho Wedding – Cornish Camels Farm

Today we feature this lovely warm and beautiful boho wedding captured by Olivia Whitbread-Roberts.

Kayleigh and Joe were married outside on the Cornish camels farm, surrounded by friends and family. The weather was spectacularly good! After the ceremony guests gathered on the lawns for pimms and nibbles and relaxed photographs of everybody mingling. We were joined by 6 adorable farm puppies which really got everybody excited-they were about 5 days old!

I took kayleigh and Joe off around the gardens for some candid shots of them together. The farm itself is home to lots of animals, including camels (as you may have guessed!). The guests fed the camels and posed for shots which bought no end of fun.

I would describe my own work as a cross between reportage and informal. Occasionally if I can envisage a shot that I feel they will love then i choose to pose the couple; I do still try and make them feel at ease so that the image is as natural and uncontrived as possible, it is all about being creative with the couple and also the surroundings.

The editing is where it really gets fun for me. I am a huge fan of colour and light, I like to make my images pop. A shallow depth of field is also integral to my style of work. I feel it is important for the image to show the viewer what I want them to, but not to alienate everybody else from the shot, so creating a subtle blur around the main object is a great way of achieving that.

I loved everything about the wedding day; the bride and groom were fantastic, so friendly and laid back. It was as though I was at a friends wedding. So many quirks added to the day and helped create a fun set of images.
