Our monthly round up collection is back and with a bang, after a huge and overwhelming number of entires we have battled it down to 20 photos that caught our eye.
Photo by Pixies in the Cellar – Pete Farrell – This wedding venue is now our absolute FAVE. Urban and rustic with gabs of character. We spotted these lights and simply couldn’t wait for the evening to grab this shot. We just love the fact it’s their ceremony room too.
Photo by Ed Godden Photography – When Cheryl told me her father was in a wheelchair, but was determined to go down the aisle with her, I knew how important this part of the day was for both of them.
The huge beaming smile coming from the bride… the immense look of pride on her Dads face… this is what I love about photographing weddings. Such an emotional, and perfect ceremony.
It was taken at the Asylum venue in London. Such a stunning venue.
Photo by Eneka Stewart – Maddie & Matt got married in Gerrards Cross last Saturday and this was taken shortly after their ceremony.
Photo by Jason Williams Photography – I’m always after something a little different with my wedding images. So when I found out this couple would have a reception in Camden I did a little scouting around to find some nice locations. Im very happy with this shot and the narrow boat, of course, was a gift!
Photo by Benjamin Stuart Photography – This was taken a few weeks ago at the gorgeous Berkshire wedding venue of Ufton Court. This photo is of a boy through the legs of his encouraging father.
Photo by John Hope Photography – Jen & Joe styling it out at their elegant city centre wedding at The Grand in York.
Photo by Aaron Storry Photography – I always tell my couples to take some time out, during the chaos of a wedding it’s easy to loose track of time and not take in the small moments – like how it ‘really’ feels to be married only a few minutes. Special times – and I’m honoured to be a part of them.
Rachel & Sean did just that – went off for a few mins. As Rachel was negotiating the long grass she lifted her dress – I observed the moment and documented it.
Photo by Sam Gibson Photography – Emma and Ally got married on Osea Island, an amazing wedding venue on a secluded island off the coast of Essex. It’s a gorgeous place with an amazing atmosphere. The weekend was so much fun and rounded off perfectly with an explosive confetti canon right in the middle of the dancefloor towards the end of the night. I love how you can see the elation on their faces amidst all the craziness!
Photo by James Tracey Photography – During Hannah and Tom’s wedding there was a stunning sunset, so we set off into the trees at the back of The Saddleworth Hotel to make the most of it and captured this frame with the sun peeping through the couple as the kiss.
Photo by Ronan Pereira / RFOTOGRAFIA – Test done in the field yesterday was a beautiful waterfall in tune with the bride and groom.
Photo by Magia Obrazu – The couple love mountain hiking so we choose Tatras for the wedding session.
Photo by Lightscape Photography – The photo was taken in Cambridge, outside St Andrews Church. It was Claire and Matt’s wedding and I wanted to try something a little different with the wedding car.
Photo by Just Hitched – Dave Allen – Gosfield Hall is a beautiful wedding venue with some amazing light. The light was beaming in the large windows so after a little reshaping and control of the sunlight, the wedding dress was beautifully illuminated creating this little gem.
Photo by Dionisis Karavidas – A bride who leaning on groom doing hers make up seeing through a mirror that comes from the sands of sea .. The photo was taken on the coast of Paralia Katerini in Greece.
Photo by Andrei Dumitrache Photography – This photo is an engagement shot in a mountain zone. The couple run in to the sunset and i shot this perfect silhouettes.
Photo by Cotton Candy Wedding Photography – Last summer Alice & Steven tied the knot in a sweet little market town called Oundle. They were married in the stunning local Oundle school chapel near to where Alice’s family own a working farm. Guests then headed back to the farm for a cool and relaxed drinks reception amongst the piglets, cows, sheep and hay bales. I love this shot as they just look so relaxed together standing next to giant letters with their initials. I also love the rustic barn and homespun feel of their day.
Photo by Cristiano Ostinelli – Early morning in Paris…. a perfect time for a perfect kiss.
Photo by Lisa Dawn Photography – This photo was taken on Stephania & Matthew’s wedding day in Corfe Castle, near Swanage in Dorset. This shot was taken at Corfe Castle itself. The couple are framed by the window, as they took a kiss, Stephania’s dress caught the wind, which makes for a lovely moment.
Photo by Piera Tammaro – It’s a very rare picture taken in the Positano’s sea. The rock, it’s in the most time of the year underwater for the high water, and that rock it’s called the Mom and the Son (there was a big one and a little one). Because in the World War II, an airplaine bombarded Positano, but the bomb didn’t go on the town of Positano, but explose on the “Mom” rock, and it goes down underwater. Now there is only the Son, but only when there is low tide.
Photo by Jessica Withey Photography – This photo was just around the corner from Zoe & Mike’s intimate wedding venue – The Old Parish Rooms.
I’d seen the few photographers who had already shot there had all used the same location to take their photos so I decided to take them somewhere different. We walked on around to the little local church yard just around the corner – and although most wouldn’t like the moody, gravestone look – Zoe and Mike…. well… they nailed it! The photo epitomises love in gloomy old England.
Congratulations to Aaron Storry who’s photo has been selected this month to be showcased on our homepage.
