Great Hampden Church Wedding

We feature the wedding of Matti and Filip, a  lovely couple who are passionate about traveling and animals. Their special day was captured by Patryk Stanisz Photography.

I started off my day from Filip’s getting ready in hotel in High Wycombe. Next I went to a farm where I took some photos of Mati’s getting ready. Wedding ceremony took place in Church St Mary Magdalene in Great Hampden. After the ceremony all guest headed to the farm where celebration and party started. In the meantime I did very quickly some posed photos of newlyweds and after then they joined to guests on the farm.

It is worth to say that a barn was renovated exactly for this special day. Beautiful and interesting speeches, delicious food, and guests dancing to the very late hours.

Do tell us a little bit about yourself

I am Patryk. Reportage wedding photographer from Poland. I have been living in London 3,5 year and decision to move to London was one of the best in my life. Living in London I have opportunities to meet amazing people and photograph weddings which I have never done before like Tamil weddings for example. I

How would you describe your photography style?

My style is candid and contemporary. As reportage wedding photographer I try to tell story of the day through pictures. First at all I try to capture interesting moments in every single frame. After I put all photos together to get full wedding story. I am observer. I love to blend in between people and looking for good photos.

What did you love about the day?

One of the most interesting speeches I have ever heard. Also It was my first time when I photographed “Feeding the Fish” an awesome performance of light juggling show.

What advice would you give to couples planning their wedding day?

Enjoy every minute and moment of your wedding. Do it the way you want and don’t feel you have to follow tradition.
