Emu Bottom Wedding

I’m excited to share this lovely wedding captured by Grace Pham Photography at Emu Bottom Homestead.

About the couple
The couple met at a theatre rehearsal in London and they pretty much clicked instantly. They are both actors so when it came to speeches they thanked those who put together the wedding production in a unique way. Best Supporting Actresses went to the bridal party, I won Best Picture and I loved Best Kiss… you can guess who this went to.

Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went
The wedding was held in Melbourne where the bride is from. The bridal party preparation began in a relaxed setting at Gisborne Peak Winery. The wedding ceremony was held at Emu Bottom Homestead, surrounded by acres of wonderful gardens and natural Australian countryside. There were smiles all around and tears when the couple exchanged their vows in front of friends and family. The celebrations continued with heartfelt speeches and lots of dancing.

Do tell us a little bit about yourself
I love photographing people in love, especially at weddings. I’ve created pictures for as long as I can remember, and I don’t think I’ll ever get bored of this passion. I was born in Vietnam, grew up in Australia and have been living and loving the London life for the past 8 years.  I have grown richer as a person in my travels and am grateful every day that I can do what I love.

How would you describe your photography style?
I am captivated by the joys and sentiments of the bride and groom on their wedding day.  A day which should speak of love and captured candidly, without intrusion. I love to capture the moments naturally, I have a documentary style but also get the traditional shots as well.

What did you love about the day?
When I arrived everyone was so calm, with mother of the bride reading to her granddaughter outside and the bride herself casually doing some last minute sewing duties. But this reflects Jen’s laid back attitude. The couple are just so in love with each other, it really transcends through the images. The location was just so beautiful, I do love a garden wedding.
