Crete Destination Wedding
Emily and Sean from the USA decided to go to Crete for their destination wedding which was captured by Greece wedding photographer Paulina Weddings.
The couple are very smiley, cheerful and extrovert. They planned their wedding day to take place on the beach in a beautiful village near Rethymno. Friends and family were invited from not just Crete but also all over the world. Sean works in the army that’s why he travels every year to a different place, however he is not alone as Emily who’s roots are in Havaii also follows him as the move around the world together.
Please tell us a little bit about the day and how it went
Unruly in Crete it was raining just before the start of the wedding, but nobody lost its good mood and everybody was happy. At the very moment when Emily arrived with her mother the sun started shining, the rain stopped and the couple with their family could enjoy a beautiful view of the rainbow. A rainbow for Emily and Sean, for their happiness. The wedding was full of emotions, everybody was touched by the father’s speech. After the beach ceremony they went to the hotel to have dinner and enjoy the time together.
Do tell us a little bit about yourself
My name is Paulina and I’m a wedding photographer based in Crete. I want to show the natural beauty of my couples, their emotions, their true love. I love mediterranean climate and the great light which makes the pictures incredibly bright and fresh.
Apart from my job, I’m with my camera every day. I love everyday photography, especially during travelling. Travels inspire me.
How would you describe your photography style?
My style is natural. I’m trying to be very district. If I’m invisible, I am able to catch all the natural emotions during your Wedding. The style of my work connects reportage, documentary photos, portraits and details pictures. I love natural light. From time to time I can suggest some little posing or give you some tips, but everything in a relaxed style, as I believe the good atmosphere is the key to the good photos.
